ROBBERY AT OUR LADY OF GRACE PARISH IN MABALACAT: CROWN OF STO. NIÑO STOLEN

The parishioners and community of Our Lady of Grace Parish were shocked to learn of a robbery that occurred today at the church in the early hours of January 9. The criminals gained access to the Parish by breaking into the left-side door, which was used as their point of entry.

Upon investigation, several items inside the Parish were found displaced. These included media equipment, the crown and areola of Our Lady of Grace, and the trespotencia of Sto. Cristo del Perdon. However, the most significant loss reported is the Crown of Sto. Niño, which is currently missing.

The parish authorities have urged anyone who may come across the missing Crown or have information about its whereabouts to immediately contact Bro. Ken Policarpio at 0947974557.

The Parish assures the community that all necessary steps are being taken to ensure the safety and security of the premises moving forward.

“We are committed to protecting the sanctity of our Parish and the valuable items entrusted to us. We ask for your understanding and cooperation during this challenging time,” the Parish stated in an official message.

The Parish community is hopeful that through collective vigilance, the stolen items, especially the Crown of Sto. Niño, will be recovered soon.

The Parish remains focused on ensuring the security of its facilities as it continues to serve its congregation and community.
