Boutique airline Sunlight Air has officially welcomed the ATR 72-600 to its growing fleet, marking a new milestone in the companyโs expansion and commitment to sustainable air travel.
The aircraft, which landed at Clark International Airport on October 3, complements Sunlight Airโs existing three ATR 72-500s and will begin commercial service on October 26, 2025, flying the routes ClarkโSiargao, SiargaoโCebu, CebuโBusuanga, and BusuangaโClark.






Known for its fuel efficiency and low carbon emissions, the 68-seater ATR 72-600 strengthens the airlineโs eco-friendly operations and enhances passenger comfort for short-haul regional flights.

Sunlight Air also announced its newest destination โ Siquijor โ with four weekly flights from Cebu beginning December 15, 2025, making it the first airline to offer direct CebuโSiquijor flights.
The new ATR 72-600 was unveiled during an exclusive event on October 24, featuring Sunlight Airโs refreshed livery and updated logo. The celebration was made possible with the support of Sunlight Hotels and Resorts, Discovery Hotels & Resorts, Uni-Tech Philippines Industrial Machinery Inc., A&M Elite Aviation International Corp., LIPAD Corp., and the Clark Development Corporation.






Sunlight Air currently operates flights from Clark, Cebu, and Manila to top Philippine destinations including Boracay, Coron (Busuanga), Siargao, and Cagayan de Oro.
