The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) distributed a total of P272.2 million in Emergency Cash Transfer (ECT) to 52,606 indigent Kapampangans severely hit by typhoons Egay and Falcon.

Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda spearheaded the distribution of assistance across the 15 recorded affected municipalities. He was joined by the local chief executives of the respective municipalities and DSWD personnel. Each recipient received P5,175 in financial aid.

Governor Pineda thanked President Ferdinand Bongbong Marcos Jr. for the timely assistance provided to the Kapampangans.

He emphasized the substantial impact this financial aid would have as recipients strive to recover from the recent calamities.

Kaya napakaswerte nating mga Kapampangan,” he shared.
