DTI Bataan Business Development Division Chief Ma. Concepcion Sanico said the trade fair aims to promote the products of manufacturers inside Bataan and other business owners at discounted prices.

“Through the Diskwento Caravan, these exhibitors were provided with a venue to showcase, promote, and sell their products, which was a huge help in boosting their income,” she furthered.

Sanico also extended thanks to the provincial government of Bataan, the city government of Balanga, and the local media for their support in empowering MSMEs.

Meanwhile, DTI Bataan Information Officer Teresita Magtanong disclosed that the three-day fair generated a sales total of about P727,034.

“We are grateful to all the customers who bought products and supported the trade fair,” she added.

Among the featured products were coffee, cashew nuts, camote chips, pastries, grocery items, plasticware, garments, footwear, bags, wallets, snacks, handicrafts, souvenirs, and arts & crafts. (PIA3)
