Seventy-seven local government units (LGUs) in Central Luzon earned a perfect 100% rating in the 2023 Anti-Drug Abuse Council (ADAC) Performance Audit, recognizing their outstanding contributions to the national anti-illegal drug campaign.
The achievements were celebrated during the 2024 Gawad Timpukan, where Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Regional Director Anthony Nuyda underscored the significance of the milestone. “This event reflects on our accomplishments, identifies areas for growth, and honors those delivering efficient and responsive public service. Your achievements embody a government that is truly matino, mahusay, at maaasahan,” Nuyda said.
DILG Assistant Secretary for Local Government Jesi Howard Lañete commended the awardees, describing their efforts as exemplary in promoting peace and order, enhancing disaster resilience, advancing social welfare, and combating illegal drugs. “Your dedication paired with integrity shows what is possible when we work together,” he noted.
