The Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) is fast-tracking infrastructure in New Clark City, with nearly 60 kilometers of new roads slated for completion by the end of 2025. This milestone marks a major leap toward realizing the city’s vision of becoming the Philippines’ first smart, green, and future-ready metropolis.

By year-end, New Clark City’s completed road network will span 57.18 kilometers, nearly 40% of its total master-planned 148.44-kilometer road system. As of November 2024, 41.48 kilometers have already been completed and are now being used by motorists. These include:

🚧𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝟏𝟗.𝟖-𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐁𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐞𝐯𝐚𝐫𝐝, linking it directly to Clark International Airport

Ongoing construction covers 15.7 kilometers, including:
🚧𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐑𝐨𝐚𝐝 𝐏𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝟐 (10.1 km): Serving the industrial zone, the Virology and Vaccine Institute of the Philippines, and the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas Complex

Additional packages (Roads 3 and 4, totaling 14.2 km) are in the pipeline for bidding, along with future roads to serve the sports complex, residential communities, and the river park.

“Infrastructure is the key to scale and competitiveness,” said BCDA President and CEO Joshua M. Bingcang. “Connectivity has always been Clark’s strength, and these developments push New Clark City closer to becoming a top-tier investment destination in Asia.”

All roads are designed with multi-lane access, dedicated bike and pedestrian paths, solar street lights, linear parks, and underground utility corridors, setting the stage for sustainable urban growth.

New Clark City spans 9,450 hectares and is projected to host 1.2 million residents and a 600,000-strong workforce. Its growing road infrastructure forms the backbone of a transit-oriented development that will integrate multi-modal transport hubs, boost mobility, attract investors, and foster liveable, thriving communities in the heart of Central Luzon.
