Zambales is once again gearing up for the vibrant Dinamulag Festival, celebrating the province’s prized carabao mango—hailed as one of the sweetest in the world.
Governor Hermogenes Ebdane Jr. announced that this year’s festival, set for May 21–24, will feature an even bigger lineup of agro-cultural showcases, product exhibits, and sports competitions—all aimed at promoting the province’s booming mango industry.
“Beyond the festivities, the Dinamulag Festival is about strengthening our efforts to improve the production and marketing of our dinamulag mango to sustain the industry,” Ebdane said.
The governor also highlighted the success of the province’s ₱50-million Green Mango Valley Project, launched last year to expand mango production, boost yield, and strengthen the value chain. “There is more reason to celebrate today, as our collective efforts are bearing fruit,” he added.
The 2025 Dinamulag Festival officially kicked off with an off-site program on April 26 at SM City Olongapo Central, featuring mango product exhibits, fun challenges, street-dancing presentations, and auditions for the Zamba-Tuklas Talento talent search for Cluster 1 (Castillejos, Subic, and Olongapo City).
According to Zambales tourism manager Tel Mora, the off-site kickoff was designed to expand the festival’s reach and build momentum toward the main events.
The Zamba-Tuklas Talento auditions continue on May 16 at the San Felipe Public Mall (Cluster 2: San Marcelino, San Antonio, San Narciso, San Felipe, and Cabangan) and on May 17 at Balin Sambali Hotel, Iba (Cluster 3: Botolan, Iba, Palauig, Masinloc, Candelaria, and Sta. Cruz).
