Pampanga State Agricultural University (PSAU) and Handong Global University (HGU) of South Korea signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on April 23, 2025, to strengthen academic collaboration and foster global engagement.

This partnership aims to enhance international cooperation in education, research, and sustainable development.

The agreement outlines joint initiatives in research and development, agro-ecotourism, food security, sustainable farming, modern technology adoption, and staff and student exchanges.
Both institutions will also collaborate on extension and training programs based on R&D results, as well as the exchange of scientific information and materials.
Representatives from PSAU included Dr. Anita G. David (University President), Ms. Mina Lyn G. Alviz (Acting Vice President for Administration and Finance), and Mr. Carlo D. De Dios (Director for Public Affairs and International Linkages). HGU was represented by President Dr. Dosoung Choi, Dean Mr. Byung Cheol Kim, and Professor Emeritus Dr. Daeyeon Cho.
The partnership supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, reinforcing the shared mission of both universities to drive inclusive development through global collaboration.
