𝐀𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲’𝐬 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐬 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭

The Angeles City Disaster and Risk Reduction Management Office (ACDRRMO) has been awarded certification for its exceptional alignment and preparedness, affirming the city’s strong commitment to disaster resilience and safety.

The certification follows the review and approval of the city’s Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) Plan 2026–2028, which was found to be aligned with the Regional DRRM Plan and well-suited to address the hazards identified within Angeles City. The Local DRRM Fund Investment Program for Fiscal Year 2026 was also confirmed to be consistent with the approved LDRRMP.

Mayor Carmelo “Jon” Lazatin II commended the ACDRRMO team for their dedication, noting that the certification underscores the city’s enhanced readiness, coherent regional coordination, and transparent, strategic use of DRRM funds.

This milestone reflects Angeles City’s continued effort to strengthen community resilience and ensure the safety of every Angeleño.
