The Angeles City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (ACDRRMO), in coordination with the Angeles City Traffic Development Office (ACTDO), carried out clearing operations in Purok 4B, Pampang as part of ongoing efforts to safeguard the community and reduce disaster risks.
Officials conducted advisory visits to residents living near the river, reminding them that building or residing along riverbanks is prohibited due to hazards during heavy rains and flooding. Residents were given a 24-hour notice to voluntarily evacuate and remove personal belongings before the clearing operation commenced.

Led by ACDRRMO Chief Francis Pangilinan and under the guidance of City Mayor Carmelo “Jon” Lazatin II, the initiative underscores the city government’s proactive approach in protecting lives, maintaining order, and ensuring safety along critical waterways.
