The Angeles City government broke ground today, April 25, for three (3) more Primary Care Facilities – in Barangays Amsic, Anunas and Sapangbato – signaling the commencement of their construction and improvements.
Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. and Pampanga First District Representative Carmelo ‘Jon’ Lazatin II led the groundbreaking ceremony together with Dr. Eric Yumul of Department of Health Region III, City Councilors Atty. Arvin Suller, JC Aguas, Alexander Indiongco, Edu Pamintuan, Marino Bañola, and Cris Cortez.
The building of the said healthcare facilities will make possible the service of optimal and quality medical attention to Angeleños even within their communities, being manned by professional health care workers such as doctors, nurses, medical technologists and dentists.
“Improving our existing health centers will create ease in the delivery of medical services to our kababayans who are in need of immediate medical attention,” Mayor Lazatin said.
Also present during the groundbreaking ceremonies are Chief Adviser IC Calaguas, Executive Assistant IV Reina Manuel, Cong Jon’s Chief-of-Staff Janie Sarmiento, City Health Officer Dr. Verona Guevarra, City Engineer Donato Dizon, City Planning and Development Officer Engr. Nilda Quito, Angeles City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Officer Rudy Simeon, Gender and Development Officer Mina Cabiles, and Barangay Captains Ronnie Rogando of Amsic, Augusto Flores of Anunas, and Edwin Flores of Sapangbato.
Yesterday, April 24, the groundbreaking ceremonies took place for primary care facilities in Barangays Pulungbulu, Capaya, and Tabun.
