Angeles City concluded Pรบpul Ning Kalalangan: Katutuan at Tรฉpรกngan, the National Arts Month celebration, with Pรบpul ning Banua Awards 2026, the cityโs highest recognition for excellence in arts, culture, and heritage.
The awards honor individuals and organizations whose work brings pride to Angeles City while preserving Kapampangan traditions and pushing creative boundaries.







Among this yearโs awardees were Kuliat Foundation Inc., recognized for its enduring efforts in cultural preservation; designer Mich Viray, lauded for promoting local artistry and heritage-inspired design; renowned culinary advocate Jam Melchor, honored for championing Filipino food and farmers; and Hann Foundation Inc., cited for its support of cultural and community initiatives.
The awardees embody excellence, integrity, and cultural prideโserving as inspirations to the community and helping strengthen the cityโs cultural foundation.
Organized by the City Government of Angeles through the Angeles City Tourism Office (ACTO), the event showcased the rich artistic traditions, heritage, and cultural identity that continue to shape the creativity of Angeleรฑos.
As Arts Month 2026 drew to a close, Angeleรฑos are encouraged to continue celebrating and supporting local talents who keep traditions alive and ensure that Angeles City remains a vibrant center of arts and culture.
