Angeles City welcomed a delegation of tourism professionals from Taiwan as part of the TaiwanโCentral Luzon Familiarization Tour organized by LIPAD Corporation and STARLUX Airlines, running from January 27 to February 1, 2026.
The delegation is composed of 10 guests, including Taiwan key opinion leaders, travel agents and tour operators, a representative from the Philippine Department of TourismโTaiwan, and officials from the Department of TourismโRegion III. Angeles City was highlighted as a key destination in Central Luzon for its rich culture, heritage landmarks, and distinct local experiences.
During their visit, the group explored the city through a curated itinerary featuring a coffee tasting at Kapebaluan Cafรฉ, a guided tour and lunch at Museo ning Angeles, and heritage walks at Pamintuan Mansion and the Holy Rosary Parish Church.
The City Tourism Office, in coordination with local stakeholders, said the FamTour aims to strengthen Angeles Cityโs visibility in the international tourism market while promoting sustainable and community-based tourism. City officials emphasized that the initiative showcases Angeles Cityโs heritage, local products, and warm Angeleรฑo hospitality, positioning it as a must-visit destination in the Philippines.
