Pampanga First District Congressman Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. was spotted buying fresh mangoes and honeydew from vendors at the Pampang Public Market, the largest market in Angeles City and a key hub for produce from the City and nearby towns.

Lazatin, who once served as Angeles City Mayor, spearheaded the reconstruction of the market after it was destroyed by fire in 2020. The P400-million, three-story facility was inaugurated on November 29, 2024, and now houses 200 dry goods stalls, a spacious ground-floor food court, and steel parking facilities on the second and third floors, offering 251 slots and a dedicated elevator.
