The Bataan Police Provincial Office (PPO) has inaugurated a new command center at Camp PFC Cirilo S. Tolentino on January 23, strengthening its capability to maintain peace and order across the province.
The facility is expected to enhance operational readiness, improve real-time monitoring, and enable faster and more efficient police response, in line with the Philippine National Police’s (PNP) commitment to community safety and professional service.

The inauguration was led by Police Regional Office 3 Director PBGen. Ponce Rogelio Peñones Jr., Governor Jose Enrique Garcia III, Bataan PPO Provincial Director PCol. Marites Salvadora, and other local officials.
In his message, Peñones commended the Bataan PPO for its strong contributions to the accomplishments of PRO3, noting that the new command center will further strengthen coordination and command-and-control capabilities in the province.
He also cited the PNP’s focused agenda under Acting PNP Chief PLtGen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr., along with PRO3’s guiding principles of Protect the People, Pursue Peace and Order, and Promote Professionalism, as key to effective police service.
Meanwhile, Salvadora thanked local government units and stakeholders for their continued support, emphasizing their role in sustaining public trust and advancing policing initiatives in Bataan.
The activity also included the turnover and blessing of new electric motorcycles and body-worn cameras, aimed at improving the mobility, responsiveness, and operational efficiency of police personnel.
With the opening of the new command center, the Bataan PPO continues to modernize its operations and strengthen community-oriented policing throughout the province.
