The Pampanga Provincial Statistical Office awarded Barangay Dau, Mabalacat City with a Plaque of Recognition for its commitment to data collection, analysis, and reporting processes that are essential for informed decision making and sustainable development.
The plaque was awarded by Chief Statistical Specialist Maria Virginia Olveรฑa, and was received by Dau Punong Barangay Derrick Dee during a ceremony held at Tabnuan Cultural Center on June 5, during the data turnover ceremony of Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS).
Punong Barangay Derrick Dee expressed gratitude for the recognition and emphasized the importance of community participation in statistical activities. He credited the barangay’s dedicated residents and barangay officials for their collaborative efforts in ensuring the success of the CBMS.
The event was attended by Mayor Crisostomo Garbo and other key government officials from PSA and DILG, community leaders, and department and unit heads of Mabalacat City Government.
