Cebu Pacific (PSE: CEB), the Philippinesโ€™ leading carrier, has been named Asiaโ€™s Low-Cost Airline of the Year by the Centre for Asia Pacific Aviation (CAPA), a global aviation research and analysis authority.

The award recognizes Cebu Pacificโ€™s strong business performance, strategic innovation, and lasting impact on the aviation industryโ€”setting the benchmark for low-cost carriers across the region.

โ€œWe are deeply honored to receive this recognition from CAPA,โ€ said Mike Szucs, Cebu Pacific Chief Executive Officer. โ€œThis award celebrates the passion and dedication of our people who work tirelessly to make flying safe, affordable, and accessible. As we continue to expand, our mission remains clearโ€”to connect people and communities and to drive tourism and economic growth across the Philippines and Asia-Pacific.โ€

Unlike customer-based awards, the CAPA Awards for Excellence are independently researched and judged by an international panel of aviation experts.

Cebu Pacific stood out for its record-breaking growth and resilient financial performance. From January to September 2025, the airline carried nearly 20 million passengers, up 13.9% from 17.5 million last year. Domestic traffic grew 12.7% to 14.9 million, while international passengers rose 17.7% to 5.1 million. The airline also posted an 84.8% seat load factor and expanded capacity by 14% to 23.5 million seats.

CEBโ€™s continued success is anchored in its low-cost model, which has revolutionized air travel in the Philippines by opening new routes, expanding connectivity, and keeping fares affordable. To meet increasing demand, Cebu Pacific recently placed a record-breaking order of up to 152 Airbus A321neo aircraftโ€”the largest fleet acquisition in Philippine aviation history.

Now serving 37 domestic and 26 international destinations across Asia, Australia, and the Middle East, Cebu Pacific continues to strengthen its position as the regionโ€™s leading low-cost carrier, making air travel more accessible to all.
