In line with its advocacy to promote sustainable agriculture, the Angeles City Agriculture Office, in collaboration with Tacondo Elementary School, spearheaded a training on Urban Gardening and Hydroponics on July 28, 2025.
The activity introduced innovative and eco-friendly farming techniques to students, teachers, parents, PTA members, and barangay representatives or volunteers. Participants were equipped with hands-on skills and practical knowledge in household-based urban farming.
This initiative forms part of the City Agriculture Office’s broader commitment to integrating sustainable agriculture into schools and communities—empowering the youth to become active champions of modern, resilient farming practices.
