In line with its advocacy to promote sustainable agriculture, the Angeles City Agriculture Office, in collaboration with Tacondo Elementary School, spearheaded a training on Urban Gardening and Hydroponics on July 28, 2025.

The activity introduced innovative and eco-friendly farming techniques to students, teachers, parents, PTA members, and barangay representatives or volunteers. Participants were equipped with hands-on skills and practical knowledge in household-based urban farming.

This initiative forms part of the City Agriculture Office’s broader commitment to integrating sustainable agriculture into schools and communitiesβ€”empowering the youth to become active champions of modern, resilient farming practices.
