Clark International Airport (CRK) reported a significant increase in passenger traffic and flight operations for 2024, solidifying its status as one of the Philippines’ premier aviation hubs.

The airport recorded 2.4 million passengers last year, reflecting a 20% growth from 2023. Of these, 35% were domestic travelers, while international passengers made up 65%.

Flight operations also rose by 29%, with a total of 19,221 flights in 2024. Domestic routes accounted for 47% of flights, and international routes made up 53%.

Domestic passenger traffic grew by 32%, while international passenger numbers increased by 15%. Domestic flights surged by 56%, and international flights grew by 12%.

“These numbers represent the hard work and dedication of everyone involved in establishing CRK as a key gateway to the Philippines,” said Noel Manankil, Chief Executive Officer of Luzon International Premiere Airport Development Corp. (LIPAD), which operates CRK. “Our focus remains on providing excellent service to passengers while partnering with stakeholders to drive regional growth and global connectivity.”

In 2024, CRK was recognized as “International Airport of the Year – Philippines” at the TDM Travel Trade Excellence Awards – Asia for its outstanding passenger services and contributions to the aviation industry.

The airport has implemented the Minimum Performance Specifications and Standards (MPSS) to ensure operational efficiency and service quality. Regular audits by the Airports Council International (ACI) and a strong feedback system help CRK meet global standards.

As a member of ACI, which represents over 2,100 airports worldwide, CRK continues to uphold the highest standards in aviation, strengthening its role as a vital gateway for domestic and international travelers.
