Transportation Secretary Vince Dizon has ordered the accelerated acquisition of right-of-way (ROW) for the Metro Manila Subway Project (MMSP) in a bid to catch up on more than two years of delay in the project’s timeline.

During his inspection of the Camp Aguinaldo Station, Secretary Dizon stressed the urgency of resolving right-of-way issues that have significantly stalled construction progress.

Once completed, the MMSP is expected to serve up to 519,000 passengers daily and cut travel time between Valenzuela and NAIA to just 35 minutes—a major improvement from the current hour-long trip.
