Pampanga First District Representative Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. filed a House Resolution on July 24, 2025, congratulating the Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) on its 111th Founding Anniversary, to be celebrated on July 27.

“On behalf of my family and the people of the First District of Pampanga, I extend my heartfelt greetings to the entire leadership and membership of Iglesia Ni Cristo on their 111th anniversary,” Lazatin said.

Founded by Felix Y. Manalo on July 27, 1914 in Sta. Ana, Manila, the INC has since grown into a global religious organization. It is now led by Executive Minister Eduardo V. Manalo.

The church has achieved several world records, including the Largest Gospel Choir, the Largest Charity Walk in a Single Venue, and the Most People Baptized in a Single Event.

In Pampanga’s First District alone, there are 38 INC locales: 19 in Angeles City, 12 in Mabalacat City, and 7 in Magalang.
