Converge ICT Solutions Inc., the leading broadband and technology firm in the Philippines, earned twin recognitions at the 2025 ASEAN Corporate Governance Awards held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The company was ranked among the Top 5 Publicly Listed Companies (PLCs) in the Philippines and secured a spot in the Top 50 ASEAN PLCs.

These awards underscore Converge’s strong commitment to ethical business practices, transparency, and accountability. The recognition is based on the rigorous ASEAN Corporate Governance Scorecard (ACGS), jointly administered by the Minority Shareholders Watch Group (MSWG), the ASEAN Capital Markets Forum (ACMF), and the Asian Development Bank (ADB).

Responsible Growth, Strong Standards
Converge Chairman Jose “Ping” de Jesus emphasized that good governance is part of the company’s DNA. “Corporate housekeeping isn’t just compliance for us—it’s our way of doing business.”

Converge’s Corporate Sustainability Officer, Atty. Laurice Esteban-Tuason, noted that the company is the only non-conglomerate among the Philippine Top 5 recognized this year. “We’re not just growing—we’re growing responsibly. This achievement reflects the work of many hands.”

Early Commitment to Sustainability
Since going public in 2020, Converge has consistently elevated its governance and sustainability practices. President and Co-Founder Grace Y. The updated 2023 Scorecard aligns with G20 and OECD principles, now placing greater emphasis on sustainability, diversity, and board engagement.

Philippine SEC Chair Atty. Francis Ed. Lim, who also heads the ACMF Corporate Governance Working Group, added “As expectations rise, our standards must evolve. ASEAN must grow together—ethically and inclusively.”
