DTI holds meat processing training in Paniqui

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) conducted trainings on How to Start a Business and Meat Processing in Paniqui, Tarlac. Attendees of the learning activity were residents of barangay Colibangbang.

DTI OIC-Provincial Director Zaida Garibay recognized the significance of the skills training in uplifting the livelihood of the participants.

“The activity aimed to develop food processing skills in the community and encourage entrepreneurship that would generate investments and create employment,” she said.

Topics discussed include the basics of entrepreneurship, business opportunities, and the business registration process.

Participants likewise learned the process of making tocino, longganisa, embotido, siomai, and ham.

DTI vowed to provide assistance in the process of creating their businesses through the town’s Negosyo Center. (PIA 3)
