Outgoing Education Secretary Sara Z. Duterte formally turned over the leadership to Senator and Incoming Secretary Sonny Angara in simple rites held at the DepEd Central Office on July 18.

Part of the ceremony is the turnover by VP Duterte of the DepEd seal, DepEd flag and Transition Report to Sec. Angara.

A tree planting activity, led by Duterte and Angara, was also held.

After the turnover ceremony, DepEd Secretary Sonny Angara made the rounds in the offices at the DepEd Central Office.
