The Environmental Management Bureau (EMB) Central Luzon, in partnership with the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA), brought the Green Wheels 2024: Environmental Compliance On-the-Go caravan to Harbor Point Ayala Mall on November 13, offering streamlined services and promoting environmental compliance.
One-Stop Shop for Environmental Compliance
The two-day event provided a πΆππ-πΊπππ πΊπππ ππππ where Subic Bay Freeport investors could process clearances and permits. Investors were also briefed on updated requirements and recent environmental laws, ensuring they stay informed about compliance mandates.
Education and Technical Assistance
The Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) caravan featured technical assistance sessions for applying for EMB compliance and detailed updates on new mandates from the bureau. The initiative aimed to ease regulatory processes while reinforcing the importance of adhering to environmental policies.

The event’s highlights included a ribbon-cutting ceremony and the signing of a βCommitment Wall by Advocates for Environmental Policies. SBMA Acting Deputy Administrator for Administration Vicente A. Evidente Jr., EMB Clearance and Permitting Division Chief Engr. Raldy R. Pagador, Environmental Monitoring and Enforcement Division (EMED) representative Engr. Nesty Mendiola, and SBMA Ecology Center Policy and Monitoring Division Chief Rossell Abuyo led the ceremony.
Approximately 100 participants, including stakeholders and investors, attended the event to learn about the latest environmental compliance processes and pledge their commitment to sustainable practices.
