Some 160 families from Barangays Dau, Dolores, and Tabun received food packs and essential items from the Mabalacat City Government following the recent heavy rains brought by the southwest monsoon (habagat).

Mayor Gerald Guttrie Aquino personally led the distribution, joined by Vice Mayor Jun Castro, members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod, and City Social Welfare and Development Officer Josephine Tanglao.

“Our frontline offices are actively monitoring the situation across the city. We will make sure that all those affected by the heavy rains receive assistance from our office,” Mayor Aquino assured.

The local government continues its relief operations in coordination with barangay officials and emergency response teams to support affected residents and ensure their safety and welfare.
