The Angeles City Police Office (ACPO) intensified its anti-illegal drug campaign after a series of buy-bust operations from February 21 to 23, 2026 led to the arrest of five suspects and the seizure of suspected shabu.
At around 6 a.m. on February 21, police operatives arrested alias โJojoโ in Purok 6, Barangay Sapangbato. Authorities recovered two sachets of suspected shabu weighing about two grams with a Standard Drug Price (SDP) of โฑ13,600, along with a marked โฑ1,000 bill used in the operation.
Later that evening, police arrested alias โRyanโ and alias โXanderโ in Sitio Ipil-Ipil, Barangay Pulung Maragul. Seized from them were sachets of suspected shabu also weighing approximately two grams, valued at โฑ13,600.
In the early hours of February 23, joint operatives of the City Police Drug Enforcement Unit and Police Station 1, in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Region 3, conducted another buy-bust along Fil-Am Friendship Highway in Barangay Sto. Domingo. Arrested were alias โArvin,โ identified as a High-Value Individual, and alias โMarco,โ both listed under PDEAโs target list. Authorities confiscated three sachets of suspected shabu weighing about five grams with an SDP of โฑ34,000.
All suspects are now in police custody and will face charges for violating Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
