Following the request of the City Schools Division Office of San Fernando, Mayor Vilma Balle-Caluag has ordered the suspension of face-to-face classes (from Kindergarten to Grade 12 in public schools) from Thursday, April 4 to Friday, April 5, 2024.

Alternative learning modalities are allowed in public schools, given the potential threats of heat-related emergencies.

Further, the Division can only propose the suspension of classes in public schools; the suspension of face-to-face classes in private schools is left to the sound discretion of their respective school heads.
