Globe Telecom has mobilized personnel and resources in anticipation of Typhoon Ofel, expected to impact areas across Luzon. The telecom company has strategically positioned generator sets and backup batteries at network facilities to mitigate potential power disruptions. Technical and support crews, along with emergency supplies, are also on standby for rapid response as needed.

“Our teams and supplies are ready to respond to Ofel’s impact in Luzon. Our network facilities are designed for resilience, enabling us to restore services swiftly in case of outages,” said Yoly Crisanto, Globe’s Chief Sustainability and Corporate Communications Officer. Globe also urges the public to rely on legitimate sources for weather updates, offering free data access to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) website.
