Empowering more women to enter the growing field of data science, the Insular Foundation (InLife Foundation), in partnership with the For the Women (FTW) Foundation, celebrated the graduation of 29 scholars from its intensive Data Science Training Program.
Over the course of 14 weeks, the women scholars underwent comprehensive training in data management, statistical techniques, Python programming, machine learning, and data visualization using Tableau. The program also emphasized the development of essential soft skills such as critical thinking and effective communicationโskills that are highly valued in todayโs data-driven industries.
The initiative is part of InLife Foundationโs broader mission to empower women through education, especially in future-ready careers. Since the programโs launch in 2021, the foundation has supported 78 scholars in data science training. Results from previous batches show that 77% of graduates from the second cohort successfully transitioned to data analytics roles, with many reporting nearly triple their previous salaries.
During the Capstone Presentation and Graduation Ceremony, InLife Foundation Trustee and InLife Chief Corporate Solutions Officer Noemi Azura congratulated the scholars and encouraged them to lead with purpose and confidence.
โYouโre not just building careersโyouโre shaping industries, driving innovation, and making real impact,โ Azura said. โYou are the problem solvers. Believe in yourself, seize opportunities, keep learning, and always pay it forward.โ
The success of the program reaffirms InLife Foundationโs commitment to helping women thrive in high-growth fields and contribute meaningfully to the digital economy.
