Asiaโ€™s Songbird Regine Velasquez-Alcasid lends her voice to a powerful call for self-love and wellness in โ€œI Am Wellโ€โ€”the official anthem of mWell, the Philippinesโ€™ first fully integrated health and wellness app. Created in collaboration with award-winning composer Jonathan Manalo, the song is the heart of mWellโ€™s newest advocacy: to encourage every Filipino to embrace health as a lifestyle and a form of loveโ€”not just for oneself, but for family and community.

โ€œI Am Wellโ€ serves as both a wellness anthem and a movement. It kicks off mWellโ€™s campaign to promote preventive health and self-care, with a music video featuring Velasquez and mWell Celebrity Health Champions delivering a message of hope, strength, and personal responsibility.

โ€œOur health is our most important investment,โ€ said Velasquez. โ€œTo take care of our loved ones, we must care for ourselves firstโ€”mind and body must be in sync for us to be truly well.โ€

Chaye Cabal-Revilla, President and CEO of mWell and Chief Finance, Risk, and Sustainability Officer of Metro Pacific Investments Corporation (MPIC), emphasized that the anthem is a reminder that every Filipino is worthy of care. โ€œWith โ€˜I Am Well,โ€™ we hope to inspire a shift in mindsetโ€”one where taking care of yourself becomes an act of empowerment.โ€

The wellness anthem is a creative expression of mWellโ€™s mission to make healthcare more accessible and inclusive. With digital services such as 24/7 doctor consultations, e-prescriptions, medicine delivery, and health monitoring tools like the mWellness Score and Mind Health Score, mWell offers users a complete ecosystem for physical, emotional, and mental well-being. The app is further complemented by affordable mWellness Wearables that track sleep, heart rate, and other vital signs in real time.

Chairman of mWell and MPIC, Manuel V. Pangilinan, echoed the deeper mission behind the campaign:

โ€œHealth shouldnโ€™t be a privilege. Every Filipino deserves a stable foundation to build a better life.โ€

Jonathan Manalo, who produced the anthem, revealed that the lyrics were inspired by real stories from mWell users. โ€œWe created this anthem to spread the message of wellness not just locally, but globally. It was made from the heart,โ€ he shared.

Beyond the music, mWell is bringing healthcare to remote communities through programs like โ€œBangkaHealthโ€ in Sulu and medical missions to areas like Talim Island, in partnership with the Philippine Coast Guard and DICT. These efforts provide essential services such as doctor consultations and health checkups to underserved familiesโ€”some in areas accessible only by boat.

โ€œLetโ€™s find strength and support in each other,โ€ Velasquez says. โ€œSo every Filipino can truly say, โ€˜I Am Well.โ€™โ€

In combining music, technology, and compassion, โ€œI Am Wellโ€ is more than just an anthemโ€”itโ€™s a declaration of self-worth, a promise of community, and a rallying cry for a healthier Philippines.
