JDN x IWG:  Shared values, shared drive, shared commitment

Juan D. Nepomuceno (JDN) Sons, Inc. strengthens its position on the global workplace map as a multifaceted real estate company with its strategic partnership with International Workplace Group (IWG), formalized last August 18 at the eNtec 1 Building, Nepo Center.

The foundation of flexible workspaces aims to provide solutions to the challenges that a high percentage of the workforce face today. A UK-based trial in 2022 with 61 participating companies found that flexible work models resulted in a decrease of work-related stress and burnout levels among approximately 40% and 71% of employees, respectively.

When asked why IWG decided to pursue JDN Sons, Inc., the answer was evidently clear for Lars Wittig, IWG Country Manager, SVP ASEAN, Taiwan, South Korea.

“JDN is really a powerhouse here in this community in Angeles City. We share a lot of the same visions; we’re very ambitious. We see the same opportunities, so this was really the most effective way for us, with this perfect partnership, to put Angeles [City] on the map of Regus.”

Rick Nepomuceno Wilkerson, President and CEO of JDN Sons, Inc., reiterated the substantial impact that this partnership will bring not only to Nepo Center but also to Angeles City as a community.

“Now, with the increased advent of flexispace, it really opens the door for new avenues, and when they [IWG] came knocking on our door, we recognized the full potential of what could be, and so that’s what excited us. This [partnership] allows us to gain the ability to grow even faster. Actually, it’s gonna be more of a catalyst for making Angeles [City] a business center in Central Luzon,” Wilkerson remarked.

In the height of the pandemic, the global workforce has observed an increased demand for flexible work models due to the imposed movement restriction policies. IWG is one of the companies that further introduced the idea of a flexible workplace to the business and office industries.

According to Noel Nepomuceno Valdes, Chief Facilities Management Officer of JDN Sons, Inc., the flexible workspaces are expected to be operational by January 2024. IWG will offer membership for the following services: office space, coworking, virtual offices, and meeting rooms.

JDN Sons, Inc., together with its sister company, Teresa G. Nepomuceno (TGN) Realty Corporation, is the owner and developer of Nepo Center in the heart of Angeles City. (Press Release)
