Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. issued the Kulong O Linis ultimatum to the vandals who purposely vandalized the Heritage District Walkway in Barangay Sto. Rosario on 20 August 2024.

Earlier, Kuliat Foundation Inc. (KFI) Secretary Jing Torno posted a photo of the vandalized walls and posts around the Heritage District. Torno’s post was followed by FB posts Barangay Sto. Rosario Punong Barangay Renato Cosme, and Barangay Kagawad Joana Joy Flores, who immediately tried to restore the vandalized wall, and coordinated with the city government regarding the matter.

Mayor Lazatin immediately ordered the Angeles City Police Office, and Angeles City Emergency Command Center, headed by Michael Lising, to locate and arrest the vandals, whose act was caught on city-installed CCTV cameras.

Upon their arrest, the three vandals were met and interrogated by Mayor Lazatin at the Angeles City Traffic Management and Enforcement Unit.

Mayor Lazatin instructed the ACTMEU personnel to monitor the clean up of the vandalized area.

“Directly po na magrereport ang ating mga kapulisan, sa paglilinis nila. Pinapabantayan po natin mismo sa Station Commander,” Lazatin shared.
