Agencies under the Department of National Defense (DND) were featured on the 13th episode of the Philippine Information Agency’s nationwide synchronized press briefing entitled “Kapihan sa Bagong Pilipinas”, which took place this morning.

Office of Civil Defense (OCD) Regional Director Amador Corpus emphasized that for seven decades, the agency has been at the forefront of ensuring the safety, preparedness, and resilience of communities in Central Luzon.

Corpus highlighted significant progress and milestone achievements in key areas of disaster management and preparedness.

Meanwhile, Philippine Veterans Affairs Office (PVAO) Field Service Office Pampanga Veterans Assistance Officer Joanna Mariz Manlapaz presented the major programs of the office aimed at fulfilling their mission. These include Veterans Welfare and Benefits Administration, Veterans Affairs Management, and Veterans Memorial Historical Preservation.
