The National Agency for Administrative City Construction (NAACC) of Korea is leading efforts to expand Korea’s influence in the Philippine urban development sector.

They recently launched “Team Korea to the Philippines,” a consortium of 23 public and private entities, to support Korean companies entering the Philippine market. This initiative builds on a memorandum of understanding (MOU) signed last September with the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA), which is overseeing major projects like New Clark City.

The team aims to leverage Korea’s experience in smart cities and urban infrastructure to foster collaborations and create opportunities for Korean firms in the rapidly developing Philippine market.
The NAACC’s involvement is intended to share expertise from Korea’s Administrative City Sejong project, while also providing operational support for potential collaborative ventures.

Moving forward, the NAACC plans to hold regular discussions to explore new urban development projects in partnership with BCDA and other local stakeholders.
