A wild fire is happening now at a portion of Mt. Arayat. The fire is visible from neighboring barangays San Agustin, San Miguel, and San Pablo in Magalang and Brgy. Baliti in Arayat.
This is the third time that a fire of this magnitude has been reported about Mt. Arayat.
According to the preliminary report of the Protected Area Management Board (PAMB), the fire started at half past four in the afternoon. The cause of the fire is still under investigation at this time.
