Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin and First District Rep. Carmelo “Jon” Lazatin Jr. led the capsule-laying and groundbreaking ceremonies in nine barangays in the city where existing health centers will be transformed into Primary Care Facilities. 

This, as Mayor Lazatin vowed to provide more accessible health services by repairing, rehabilitating and improving the sub-health centers in the mentioned barangays.

The Lazatin brothers, assisted by city and barangay officials, led the acitivities in Barangays Pulungbulu, Capaya II and Tabun on April 24, Barangays Sapanbato, Anunas and Amsic on April 25, and Barangays Malabanias, Pulung Maragul and Cutud on April 25.

Meanwhile, groundbreaking ceremonies in Barangays Pampang and Sta. Teresita will be held on May 3.

According to Mayor Lazatin, Angeleños can easily seek optimal and quality medical attention within their community through the creation of Primary Care Facilities, being manned by professional health care workers such as doctors, nurses, medical technologists and dentists. Among the flagship programs of Mayor Lazatin is to envision a city with healthy citizens, enhancing and equipping sub-health centers through infrastructure development. 

“Like my father, Cong. Tarzan, my grandfather, Apung Feleng, and my brother, Congressman Jon, health is the cornerstone of our administration,” Lazatin added.

Scope of the work will include demolition, earth filling, concrete, masonry, carpentry and ceiling works, structural steel and iron works, electrical and plumbing works, paint and tile works, and works associated with clearing and disposal.
