Mayor Carmelo “Jon” Lazatin II has directed the regular conduct of clean-up operations at the Pampang Public Market to maintain cleanliness and proper sanitation.

The 20th Sangguniang Panlungsod, represented by Councilors Edu Pamintuan, Alex Indiongco, and Niknok Bañola, conducted an on-site inspection to monitor the progress of the ongoing market clean-up.

The inspection covered waste management practices and the current state of sanitation in the area.

Mayor Lazatin also bared plans to rehabilitate the market’s drainage system and connect it to the City’s Water Treatment Facility nearby—an initiative aimed at improving wastewater management.

The mayor emphasized that he will personally conduct unannounced inspections to ensure consistent compliance with sanitation standards and the sustainability of the clean-up program.
