The Mabalacat City College (MCC) is poised to achieve another remarkable milestone as the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) has announced the Top 3 Regional Best CEST (Community Empowerment thru Science & Technology) Award qualifiers.
Following a thorough evaluation of narrative reports submitted by nominees from various provinces, MCC is proud to be recognized as one of the finalists alongside San Clemente, Tarlac, and Talavera, Nueva Ecija.
In a statement, Mayor Crisostomo Garbo who is also the chairman of board of trustees, said that the DOST’s announcement highlights the significant contributions of MCC to leveraging science and technology for local empowerment. “Our innovative initiatives in education have positioned the institution as a leader in promoting sustainable development and enhancing the quality of life for residents,” MCG added.
“We are honored to be recognized by the DOST as one of the finalists for the Regional CEST Award,” said MCC President Dr. Michelle Aguilar-Ong.
The CEST Award aims to inspire local government units and educational institutions to create programs that utilize scientific knowledge and technological advancements for community development.
