Mabalacat City College (MCC) Corporate Boutique and Community Pantry won 1st Place in Best Practices during the recently concluded 18th Philippine Association of Practitioners of Student Affairs and Services in Region III (PAPSAS III) Annual Convention and Student Leaders Summit held last June 13 and 14 at Arayat, Pampanga.
The Convention, whose theme is “Strategic Directions Towards Better SAS”, aimed to foster engagement among students and SAS practitioners through community building exercises and sharing of best practices. Through attending such activities, Higher Education Institutions were able to collaborate with other SAS practitioners in enhancing services offered to students.
MCC Student Leadership Development Officer Prince EJ Manalo, who attended the event with AVP for Student Life Ms. Florient G. Non, presented the college’s Best Practices along with 26 participating schools. Corporate Boutique and Community Pantry were the college’s initiatives in supporting students in their professional and academic endeavors.
