The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) has cited Mabalacat City for its “Good Financial Housekeeping” (GFH) in 2023.

Good Financial Housekeeping means that local governments passed the reporting guidelines of the Commission of Audit and declared their financial reports online and in conspicuous places in communities according to the Full Disclosure Policy.

Mayor Crisostomo Garbo expressed his elation on the recognition, emphasizing that the LGU’s compliance is a testament to the city’s relentless hard work, dedication, and unwavering faith.

In his statement, Mayor Garbo said, “No matter how a few people try to bring us down, you cannot deny the fruits of our labor. This announcement is a reflection of our collective efforts and steadfast commitment to promoting excellence in governance.”
