In a show of hands-on governance, Mayor Geld Aquino started his day early by visiting homes along Barangay Dau to personally distribute financial assistance to about 30 bedridden residents.

Mayor Aquino emphasized the importance of the government reaching out to those who are unable to come to the City Hall due to illness or limited mobility.

Each beneficiary received ₱8,000, intended to cover medical needs and other daily expenses.

“By personally visiting our bedridden residents, the city administration can better assess their needs and ensure that support reaches those who require it most, especially the sick and immobile,” Mayor Aquino said.

Councilors Pat Acorda and Errol Soliven joined the mayor in the distribution, reinforcing the local government’s commitment to continuous service.
