New Clark City is positioning itself as the Philippinesโ next big AI hub, promising a transformative leap for Central Luzonโs economy.
Speaking at the Clark Investors and Locators Association (CILA) First General Membership Meeting at Clark Marriott Hotel, Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) President and CEO Engr. Joshua M. Bingcang shared a clear roadmap for the cityโs growth. He outlined a vision that includes:
- New Clark City emerging as the countryโs AI capital
- Expanded connectivity via Clark International Airport
- Affordable housing programs for working Filipinos
- A waste-to-energy facility delivering clean power
- World-class sports facilities rising across the city

โClark will support the country as an AI hub. Thatโs why we are inviting more partners to contribute to innovation and development by hosting them here,โ Bingcang said.
With AI at the center of the national agenda under President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. and the Philippines hosting the upcoming ASEAN Summit, Central Luzon is set to become a regional innovation hotspot.
The event also featured the induction of the 2026 CILA Board of Directors, led by Chairman Atty. Gerald Medina and President Ernesto Gorospe, the team tasked with transforming BCDAโs blueprint into reality.
