Mayor Jing Capil on Tuesday convened a coordination meeting with representatives of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) and Municipal Engineer Glenn Lansangan to discuss the final alignment of the Porac–Angeles Bypass Road.

The meeting centered on a review of the proposed route, including key technical considerations and right-of-way concerns, to ensure that the project aligns with the municipality’s development plans and long-term infrastructure priorities.

Capil emphasized the importance of close coordination with national agencies to guarantee that the bypass road will effectively ease traffic congestion and support Porac’s growth while safeguarding the interests of affected communities.

Once finalized, the Porac–Angeles Bypass Road is expected to improve connectivity and mobility between Porac and Angeles City, boosting economic activity and accessibility in the area.
