Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr., together with officials from the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD), distributed financial assistance today, 28 October, to 24 households from Barangay Pampang affected by Typhoon Carina, which affected the country in July 2024.
One bereaved family received P30,000, while 23 individuals each received P10,000 in aid from DHSUD. Representing DHSUD Region 3 Director Julius Ervin Enciso were Public Housing and Settlements Division OIC Engr. Laila Castillo, Admin and Finance Division OIC Pietro Angelo Santiago, and Homeowners Association and Community Development Division OIC Dennis Puzon.
Also present were City Social Welfare and Development Officer Edna Duaso, City Nutrition Officer Francis De Guzman, and Angeles City Human Settlements and Urban Development Office Deputy Rowel Nava.
