Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. on November 21, 2023 provided athletic shoes of the 21 players of Angeles City Red Warriors Basketball Team, who are currently competing at Pampanga Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda’s Inter-Town Delta Cup 2023 Basketball League.
The members of the Angeles City Red Warriors Basketball Team are Ramil Balantad, Jacob Baloria, Jim Calma, Jayvee Cortez, John De Guzman, Sam De Jesus, CJ Due, Kidd Estalilla, Guile Guevarra, Jensen Henson, Lei Lagman, Paul Lagman, Pao Laquindanum, Aldrine Martinez, Jomari Nacu, Yuan Ocampo, Yujnvhal Pena, Kennedy Pineda, Vijay Roxas, Mike Salgado, and Carl Timbol.
Lazatin, who is also an athlete himself, emphasized that the active support that these athletes are receiving is also a way of motivating them and boosting their morale, taking pride in representing Angeles City.
AC Red Warriors is coached by Valdu Peña with Earl Morales, Eric Mallari, Javier Cruz and Jonjonn Ocampo as assistant coaches.
Also present were City Councilor Atty. Arvin Suller, and Sangguniang Kabataan President Arnoah Mandani.
