𝐌𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐫 𝐏𝐨𝐠𝐢 𝐫𝐞𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬 𝐀𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐧̃𝐨 𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐢𝐧𝐨𝐲, 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥. 𝐍𝐚𝐭’𝐥 𝐆𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐬

Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. on January 30, 2024 gave incentives to Angeleño athletes who won at the Batang Pinoy National Championships and Philippine National Games.

Nine student-athlete winners and five coaches receive certificates of recognition and cash incentives.

Each gold medalist received ₱15,000; ₱10,000 for silver medalists; and ₱7,000 each for bronze medalists.

Meanwhile, each coach also received ₱5,000 cash incentive.

The total amount of cash incentives distributed is ₱194,000.

Angeles City has garnered four gold, six silver, and seven bronze medals during the said annual sporting event last December 17-22, 2023.

Present during the awarding of cash incentives are student-athletes Reighn Sebastian Vergara, Riannah Chantelle Coleman, Gwyneth Cassandra Alexel Garcia, Hazael Cahulogan, John Kristoff Bautista, Mon Lorence Gonzales, Kade Davinci Damasco, Rued Angel Cesar Bangayan, and Girvin Cullen Nigel Garcia, coaches Bernardino Alindogan, Noli Miranda Jr., Leonel Caroc, Ana Chenly Bangayan, and Gabriel Garcia.
Lazatin vowed that he will continue to support and prioritize sports development amongst youth.
