McDonald’s Philippines is bringing back the spirit of togetherness this holiday season with its nationwide initiative, “Grand Reunion at McDo,” which offers select groups the chance to celebrate meaningful reunions for free in McDonald’s Party Rooms across the country.

The program aims to support families and friends who have been unable to gather due to distance, work schedules, or personal circumstances. Through the initiative, McDonald’s will transform select Party Rooms into festive venues for reunions happening simultaneously nationwide on December 8, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Each participating group may consist of up to 10 members, with two groups accommodated per party room.

Interested participants may join by sharing their stories through the official Grand Reunion post on McDonald’s Philippines’ Facebook Page. Entries must highlight why the reunion is important, what kept the group apart, and why their bond is worth celebrating. Selection will be based on how well stories reflect the Filipino values of connection and togetherness during Christmas.

Each chosen group will enjoy boxes of Honey Butter Chicken McDo, enhanced with Garlic Parmesan and Snow Cheese powder for a shared “shake, tear, and sprinkle” dining moment. A McDonald’s “Happiness Host” will also assist in facilitating light games and simple activities to make the gathering more memorable.

McDonald’s Philippines Chief Marketing Officer Ada Lazaro said the initiative reinforces Filipino traditions of pagsasama-sama and pagsasalo-salo during the holidays by creating a warm, inclusive space for reunions. She noted that Grand Reunion at McDo provides a meaningful yet uncomplicated way for people to reconnect despite the often hectic and costly demands of the season.
