OBRA AT CRK FEATURING TARLAC MASTERS

Tarlaqueño masters take the spotlight with the return of OBRA, the art exhibit that is staged at Clark International Airport (CRK) in partnership with A&B Events.

The ceremonial ribbon cutting was led by LIPAD Corporation President and CEO Noel F. Manankil, Pampanga Press Club (PPC) President and Clark International Airport Corporation (CIAC) Director Noel Tulabut and A&B Events’ Bennylee Bondoc, accompanied by the Tarlac masters, whose works are featured at the exhibit.

The participating Tarlac artists include:
Chrisanto Aquino – Multi-awarded painter acclaimed for his versatility in watercolor and oil/acrylic. His works explore evolving themes through both realism and contemporary expression.

Sonny Fernando – Contemporary acrylic painter, self-taught, working between Tarlac and SoCal. His style blends geometric abstraction with recognizable forms, reflecting emotions from joy to anxiety.

John Melvin Garcia – Acrylic artist focusing on nature and environmental themes. Uses flowing strokes, vivid colors, and closed-eye figures to evoke sincerity and ecological awareness.

Kenneth Garcia – Fine Arts graduate whose acrylic works feature sepia tones, layered textures, and figurative elements. Recognized nationally and internationally for his distinct vintage-inspired style.

Judeo Herrera – Award-winning painter and Fine Arts instructor. Known for expressive works in watercolor and oil, with themes often rooted in identity, symbolism, and lived experience.

Kenneth Leo Pamlas – Contemporary painter and educator. His textured acrylic works often feature cracked-skin motifs symbolizing resilience, struggle, and healing.

Fernando Ramos Jr. – Painter whose style fuses organic and technical approaches. Creates layered, detailed works with natural mediums that reveal intention beneath seemingly accidental forms.

John Michael Ramos – Emerging artist and competition winner. Known for multi-layered paintings with symbolic homing birds, representing human connection, resilience, and daily life.
